Contact Sandy Springs Concrete Pros

We are a concrete contractor working mostly on houses that already have concrete on them. Sandy Springs filled in early, with a housing boom in the early 1960s after the highways went through and infill continuing into the 1980s, so much of what we touch is replacement rather than new pour: a driveway breaking up at the apron, a sidewalk lifted by roots, a patio slab cracked clean through. Tell us what it is doing now, and how long it has been doing it.

Before we put a number to anything, we want to look at the slab, because most of what goes wrong with old flatwork is underneath it. A base that has washed out. No rebar or wire mesh where there should have been some. Water running along one edge for thirty years. Permits, on the jobs that need them, go through the City of Sandy Springs, and we handle that paperwork. Call for a free estimate, or send photos of the worst of it.

What Happens After You Get In Touch

The estimate happens on site, standing on the concrete in question. We measure the driveway, walk or slab, look at where water goes, check the joints and the edges, and read the cracks for what is moving underneath. Older flatwork tells you a lot. A driveway poured during the early 1960s housing boom and patched twice since is a different job than a patio that settled recently. From there we talk through what comes out, what stays, and how the new work goes back in: thickness, rebar or wire mesh, finish, and whether stamped or colored concrete makes sense on your lot.

It helps if you can tell us:

  • which surface you mean: driveway, sidewalk, patio, steps, or a commercial slab
  • rough dimensions, or just something we can measure from when we get there
  • what is wrong: cracking, settling, spalling, standing water, or it has simply aged out
  • the finish you have in mind, whether that is a plain broom, exposed aggregate, or stamped and colored work
  • access, since these are rolling wooded lots and a truck needs a way in

We work Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Brookhaven, Atlanta and the wider metro Atlanta area, all on the same terms. Most of our work is replacement rather than new build, so demolition and haul-off come before grading, forms, steel and the pour. During the visit we walk through what that looks like from your side: where you park, what the yard looks like mid-job, and how long new concrete needs before it carries a car.
